Thermo-Seal Hot Crack Sealing System

This unique system applies a hot rubberized crack sealant at 375°  Cracks are prepared using a heat lance which produces a 2000º F blast of compressed air to clean, dry, and prime the crack for sealing. This method has been proven to be the most cost-effective way to prepare cracks for sealing*. Crack routing is also available prior to lancing*.
Thermo-Seal applied sealants are specifically formulated for non-tracking performance even in the hottest summer

Heat Lance preparation.

* Federal research as a part of the Strategic Highway Research Project  has proven the heat lance to be the most cost effective method of cleaning and preparing cracks. The heat lance provides up to 3 times the durability of compressed air or other cleaning methods. When combined with crack routing the most durable seal possible is obtained (SHRP H-106 Data). Although more expensive initially the combination of routing and heat lance preparation can provide 10 times the life of conventional crack sealing methods. We are proud to have recommended these exact methods and provided these services to our clients for over 10 years.
